Congratulations to Matthew P!
He passed his Eagle Scout Board of Review on January 31, 2012!
The Fairfield Moose Lodge is sponsoring a Spaghetti Feed Fundraiser for Troop 482 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm. This event will help fund a portion of registration fees for all scouts. Each scout will pay $30, and will receive 5 tickets to sell for $10 each. By selling all 5 tickets, the scout will earn the $30 back, plus $20 for his individual scout account. If a scout sells more tickets, the additional funds will go to his individual account.
If you need more tickets or have any questions, contact Mr. Bob Sanders, our parent coordinator for this event. All money collected (cash, or checks made payable to BSA Troop 482) and unsold tickets are due NO LATER than Wednesday, March 7.

Troop 482 served at the Solano Food Bank on November 19, helping to collect and sort the food dropped off by Packs and Troops that were out collecting food in their neighborhoods. At the end of the day, the donations filled 12 barrels, each estimated at 500-800 pounds of food!

Troop 482′s Winter COH is December 14 at 7:00 pm at Rockville Bible Church. Monster Quest and Allied Forces patrols have clean up!
The gift exchange will be BY PATROL; each scout that would like to participate is to bring a $5 wrapped gift.
Troop 482 sold a lot popcorn; over $9,000.00! That will pay for summer camp for several industrious scouts!
Don’t forget to let your out of area friends and relatives know they can order online throughout the year to support you too!
Each month the ASMs (Assistant ScoutMasters) meet to train, to discuss Troop events, to plan and organize, and to better understand the role of an Assistant Scoutmaster.
The next meeting will be Tuesday, December 6, at 7:00 pm at the Patchen’s home. You can check our calendar for all meetings, as well.

Matthew’s project workday on Nov. 5 was a tremendous success. Matthew writes: “Thanks to you, all six shelters are complete and my cat food total has reached three hundred and sixty eight pounds!“
